You pay for what runs
Machines bill by the second while they run, at $0.045 per vCPU-hour and $0.016 per GiB-hour of memory. Models bill per token and searches per query.

Metered work stops when the balance reaches zero. Nothing is charged to your card afterwards.

Compute is charged for each second a machine runs, settled every 10 seconds, and stops when the machine does. Every model has its own per-million-token rate; Janus 1.0 Flash is the reference the billing service publishes. Other metered work, such as image and video generation, bills at its own rate. The Search, Maps and Mail APIs draw on a separate API balance: see api.kaer.ai/pricing.

Credit questions
Where do these rates come from?
From our billing system. This page reads the same rate card we charge from, and the raw card is public at kaer.ai/api/billing/rates. The usage page in your settings breaks your own spend down by day and by model.
Does unused credit roll over?
Plan credits reset when your cycle renews. Top-up and bonus credits carry over until you use them, unless an expiry was stated when you got them, and the soonest-expiring credit is spent first.
What happens if I hit zero?
Metered work stops with a notice to top up, until you add credit or your plan renews. If you turned on automatic top-up, it adds credit up to your monthly cap. There is no surprise overage.
Can I get more credits each month?
Yes. Add 1,000-credit packs to any paid plan at $10 a month each, or top up once whenever you need to.
